The last two weeks worth of conventions have shown me how wrong I was. The crazy knee-bending of Biden to the shitheads to his left. The focusing on social science bullshit instead of American workers. All of it.

My view of Donald was mostly whatever just showed up on my random browsing. Mostly tweets that went viral. I thought he was an dick (to be fair - he sounds like a dick but what did Team America teach us about dicks? If you don't know read u/rabdargab response below), and he was a republican - so why would he be for workers?

I didn't even realize the full list of shit this man has gotten done. And the republican party? They are marching to his drum and his drum is bangin out progress. It's made it from a party of Haliburton and big business warmongers the last time i actually looked at them, to a party of workers and SMB who will strike when they need to - and mind their own business when they don't.

I didn't give this guy a chance after he got elected. I was wrong. But I'll damn sure be giving him 4 more years. I want to see a new American story on the air every night from now to the election. Let them try to fight those ads. Let them try to fight the real lives of real Americans that POTUS brought REAL CHANGE to.

So Morpheus, I think I'll see how deep the rabbit hole goes now. My info has obviously been bullshit up til now. Help a guy out here. What do I need to look at to catch up with what's really going on?

SPEZ: Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and breadth of material, spent most of my night reading through alot of it and will be doing so again tonight. Any dead tree recommendations for the bookshelf?

A loud New Yorker with a private heart.

This is a great description. People need to get over their tendies and see what's underneath.

His manner of speech never turned me off. I've been living in the NY/ NJ area for 20 years, and that is the way a lot of people talk. I prefer it to people who talk nice and polite, then stab you in the back

Yeah I'm used to that kind of talk.

Prefer honest real and possibly non PC talk that gets things done, to smooth-talking placating and ducking the difficult stuff like Obama and his liberal firends and holywood elite.

Well put! Grew up where everyone speaks like this and thought nothing of it.

Right. We called our buddies pollock and guinea wops, and frogs., and even.one kid was called chink. Even his fuck8ng mother used the nickname and trust me she loved that kid. I was called breed which was short for half breed. Stupid name that stuck diring a game of cowboys and Indians when i was about 8 and some decided the game needed one half breed who could communicate with the Indians. Hence halfbreed/breed until i was about 20. Joined the navy and left it behind.

I’ve always found that people that complain about his tweets don’t actually read any of them, some don’t even have Twitter. Hearing every night though, on the news how brash they are and caustic from a corrupt press who hates him is powerful brainwashing. I always try to ask, “which one really upset you?” And am always met with blank stares and retard noises.
