The last two weeks worth of conventions have shown me how wrong I was. The crazy knee-bending of Biden to the shitheads to his left. The focusing on social science bullshit instead of American workers. All of it.
My view of Donald was mostly whatever just showed up on my random browsing. Mostly tweets that went viral. I thought he was an dick (to be fair - he sounds like a dick but what did Team America teach us about dicks? If you don't know read u/rabdargab response below), and he was a republican - so why would he be for workers?
I didn't even realize the full list of shit this man has gotten done. And the republican party? They are marching to his drum and his drum is bangin out progress. It's made it from a party of Haliburton and big business warmongers the last time i actually looked at them, to a party of workers and SMB who will strike when they need to - and mind their own business when they don't.
I didn't give this guy a chance after he got elected. I was wrong. But I'll damn sure be giving him 4 more years. I want to see a new American story on the air every night from now to the election. Let them try to fight those ads. Let them try to fight the real lives of real Americans that POTUS brought REAL CHANGE to.
So Morpheus, I think I'll see how deep the rabbit hole goes now. My info has obviously been bullshit up til now. Help a guy out here. What do I need to look at to catch up with what's really going on?
SPEZ: Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and breadth of material, spent most of my night reading through alot of it and will be doing so again tonight. Any dead tree recommendations for the bookshelf?
Almost immediately after taking office, Trump began fighting human trafficking. Obama did practically nothing. The MSM doesn't report it, but I follow the arrests online, and it's heartwarming how many people have been freed. MSM doesn't care.
For real. That shit was bad down in ATL when I lived in the area. Will definitely be looking more at what all they are doing. Pay more attention to those departmental press releases and not expect anyone to actually cover them.
