No it wouldn’t. They have weapons to and they have countries like China and Russia that would be jumping at the opportunity to help destabilize America. It would be a long, ugly, and drawn out conflict with several countries getting involved. It would be the end of America as you know it. Be careful what you wish for.

China and Russia don't have the airlift or sealift capacity to sustain a counter-insurgancy across an entire continent.
