Dr. Rand Paul - more concerned about the cop who was being assaulted than his own safety.
As a long-time supporter this is a poignant moment for me. On the one hand, I'm proud to see a politician actually behaving like a public servant when the heat is turned up. On the other hand, it deeply saddens me to know that he's a good guy and if the cops weren't there this crowd would be breaking a lot more than his ribs.
