I’m writing this post to remind myself to unsubscribe to Hulu. Just found out that they removed episodes of Always Sunny in Philadelphia that they found offensive (basically every episode that satirically showed black face or other racial characterizations... missing the entire point of their usage in the episodes).
I’m sure Disney has a heavy hand in this, they have a partnership with Hulu. Good riddance. Got rid of Disney already. Disney- “Interracial lesbian cartoon for children= good, mocking portrayals of racism= bad”. They must have had someone just skim through the show on fast forward, totally missing the context. They also missed the 2 episodes where Charlie drops N bombs with hard Rs. Fuck censorship.
I've recently gone back to buying DVDs. I'll pick up seasons of shows I like at thrift shops for like 5 bucks. Netflix has been busted censoring content as well. I'm so over this PC bullshit.
Yeah. I decided I was tired of streaming sources randomly leaving out episodes or losing series entirely so I decided to make my own server. Now I can stream any content that I own any time I want without worrying about censors.
