Colby beat down a Brazilian fighter in Brazil who happens to be a 5-time BJJ world champion; he did this right before calling Brazil a dump and calling the Brazilian crowd a bunch of filthy animals. The heat he got afterwards was freaking insane.
Even the best of Brazil is no match for an All-American like Colby.
from what I understand, Colby was actually about to get dropped by the UFC for not being a popular enough fighter, but this whole event created enough controversy to keep his contract alive
