there's a reason for that. remember when hillary's people cancelled their fireworks a few days prior to the 2016 election? prez maga offered to buy them at a discount rate.
these are those fireworks. and now you know......the rest of the story. :-)
I haven't been able to verify via TheirT00b that they've edited this out 'cus they didn't archive it there, but I managed to find a "Maddow Corrects Litany Of Falsehoods In Trump's RNC Speech | MSNBC" and didn't bother to watch it. I do know that she's so full of shit that her Chyron director has issued correction's in real time. This piece of shit should not be employable at any news outlet, I don't give a shit what Kennedy says on the topic.
Edit: Oh yeah, my main point: In order to do this vertical spelling, it requires careful variation of the propellant charges and launcher aim, which is an impressive skill on the part of the fireworks technicians. Editing this out of the live coverage is an insult to these people far more than it is to Trump.
Modern fireworks are launched with a pneumatic system for more precise height and timing control. There's no more waiting for fuses, pressure build up, etc, let the computer open the valve following a precise pattern for a needed flight profile and off it goes. The burst timing is also controlled using a chip in the shell instead of a fuse.
I doubt they're using chips in little stars like that, and they have to be already exposed to the air and lit. We are talking about the stars that spell "TRUMP / 2020" vertically; they didn't burst. Also, it looks like an EFU malfunctioned in the last 30 seconds of the show, did you spot it?
Well, that's awesome. The last time I learned anything about big fireworks displays was something like 30 years ago. It was all fuses and boom stuff back then.
That's wild! I didn't know they weren't using plain old powder lifting charges anymore, since I know you can predictably time fuses and have electronic ignition.
Like 15 years ago, I was in Des Moines or Chicago ( I can't remember tbh ) and I was sitting in a restaurant on the edge of a river getting fireworks shot straight at us from across the river. So fucking cool, I wish I could have been in DC last night. I'm only a few hours away.
My favorites are the very small flashes they use as filler during finales. Smallest flash and biggest boom. Usually shoot them in rapid succession. Whatever those are called are the best.
Those were some of the most amazing fireworks I have ever seen.
Just imagine how much this triggered those nasty pedocrats outside the White House screeching REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
They are low energy! https://twitter.com/JerryFalwellJrP/status/1299207916784955397?s=20
It was the first time I ever saw people flipping off Fireworks!
I'm partial to this stuff personally

Soytifa ammo costs just went through the roof due to supply shortages!
I think he bought them 5 cents on the dollar from Hillary in 2016
lmao came in this thread to make this joke
I was going to make the same joke too...lol
tee hee...four of us in a row, sharing the brain cell.

Disney has been using such systems for 15 years.

this clip is only 23 seconds so not sure if the malfunction is in there. can you explain what happened?
Star ignition will be chip based if you want high reliability and timing precision. Spelling a name during the show? You bet those were chipped.

I have loved fireworks since I was a kid. The louder the better. I watched in total jealousy of all the people that got to see that amazing show live.
