That second video really clears up the first shooting. I thought Kyle ran off to the left and "shoot me nigga" was in effect running away after throwing... whatever that was... and was shot from the left side. He kept chasing Kyle, who turned to shoot, then ran around the cars to circle back and enter from the left. That's totally justified, especially since a gunshot went off just before Kyle turned to shoot. It would be reasonable for him to assume he was being shot at since he was being chased.

I don't see how murder or any other charges stick after seeing this.

If these charges stick it will be a disgusting precedent. If one couldn't use their weapon to defend themselves in this situation then when can they?

If these charges stick then no. No more precedent. The fat lady has sung. The social contract has been irrevocably broken. There's no longer any doubt we live under a vichy government run by quislings and we've come to the rubicon. Fortunately the justice system is slow so nothing significant is going to happen with Kyle's case until after 01/20/2021.

I'm going to climb on broken glass uphill in the snow both ways to vote in person for Trump this November. I pray to G-d that is enough.

Especially 1st Degree Murder which requires a clear amount of premeditation. I knew they screwed up with that charge immediately. They could try at manslaughter at best but even then there is a solid self-defense case.
