For future reference, what's the deal here...is it still considered "open carry" if you walk into a war zone and are actively employing the firearm for self-defense?
I'm in Cali where the bullshit, blatantly unconstitutional laws say that open carry is illegal. So if a mob comes into my neighborhood, starts burning stuff down, and I need to evacuate with a firearm on my person, does that mean I'm violating the open carry law?
Wasn't there an open carry case going through the Cali courts regarding open carry being the right covered by the 2nd amendment? I remember it being the reason their concealed carry law being able to be passed.
Don't know the specific one, but there's always some lawsuit or legislation trying to reclaim gun rights in Cali. They're always shot down or stalled out.
