Even people working with him were red pilled along the way. The only way Trump doesn't win is if the democriminals figure out how to steak votes.

I'm fairly certain this long slow "reveal" by Tim was a strategy-- both to help him retain his audience's loyalty, and also red-pill as many of them as possible.

Keep up the good fight, Tim.

23
IronMaiden 23 points ago +23 / -0

That's what I've always thought. His audience is mostly people on the fence, and if he went full Trump train, it might put some people off.

...it doesn't instantly make you MY MORTAL ENEMY if we disagree on a political point.

That's the thing with the left - take so much as one step outside of their ideologically sanctioned bubble and you instantly become satan himself. I think it's that rabid narrow-mindedness which has done more to red pill people like Tim than anything else.

HE WOULD HAVE BEEN CONTENT to end a life long friendship over me not hating Trump.

I think that's what bothers me the most about all this - that people who seemed to care about us and like us, can suddenly cast us aside in favour of some scumbag politician they've never even met. We'd happily agree to disagree because we value our friends as individuals, but they clearly value ideology over the individual.

My boyfriend actually dumped me over this crap a couple of weeks ago so I've seen it first hand, and you're right, it's absolutely sick.

You can be certain of that - they WILL try election fraud. There will be huge boxes of blue vote ballots which will just miraculously arrive as needed. You all can vote in person all you want, but if they pull their extra boxes out of their ass, you're in trouble.

And they will.

I knew he was done with the fence sitting when he was doing the usual bit of reading through an article and commenting (his whole show basically). But he could not stop laughing. "this has to be a joke site" he had to quadruple check it wasnt. He thought he was being punked. It is a journey many are taking. "this can not be real". My on the trump train, was watching hillary bark like a dog. I thought for sure that was fake. For him it was NBA stars buying 60k cars and who think they are slumming it.

However, once you get on the other side of the lies. They literally offend you. It is just lie after lie and gaslighting. He is on the other side now.

I see a lot of instances where Christians are somehow offended by Trump's past or the way he acts, or that his policies aren't socially 100% perfectly in line with Christian values and therefore feel like they can't vote for him even if the alternative is pure evil. It's crazy, it's as if these people truly believe that unless the person is Jesus Christ Himself they can't in good conscience vote for them.

There are a lot of churches that don't encourage regular Bible reading. Of those that do, there are even fewer that really train their members how to study the Bible well.

"Never read a Bible verse" should be well known and followed. We need to understand context both of the verses and chapters near the verse in question and within the context of how the Bible speaks about the same concepts in other books.

A lot of bad theology could be cleared up simply by simple reading comprehension.

2
Isolated_Patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

We need to understand context both of the verses and chapters near the verse in question

Chapters and verses were added to the bible 500 years ago. 30 years prior to the reformation. For 1500 years their was only the text. Then we divided the bible and the church.

If you look at all the different Christian denominations that have arisen in that time period, you will find that every one of them has a set doctrine with a list of verses taken out of context to defend that doctrine against other churches and their doctrines with their verses also taken out of context.

Some Christians get very upset at pointing out this heretical detail. Even more than trying to talk about the gifts of the spirit.

A lot of bad theology would be cleared up by reading the Bible without the unnecessary chapters and verses. Yet it's an uphill battle to even have this conversation with 99% of professed Christians.

6
BurgerChef90 6 points ago +6 / -0

My grandmother is this way. She's a devout Christian who liked Bush but didn't like Obama and could NOT vote for Trump because "of the way he talks to people."

I asked her, "What's better, someone who has 70% of your conservative beliefs, who might be "mean" or someone who is pure evil who stands for NOTHING conservative or Christian?"

I voted for Trump for President, not Pope.

2
The_Left_The 2 points ago +2 / -0

And Jesus himself wouldn't be good enough for some people. I remember clearly one person in church objecting, "MY God wouldn't call people names!"

2
Long_time_lurker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Our other option here is the pedo friendly Democrats who are endorsing the freaking Church of Satan and their Satanic Ritual Abortion on Reddit and who pretty much want to kill us off one way or the other.

So... yeah. I'll take an imperfect person trying to do good over those who glorify evil any day.

You can’t be number 1 without being an asshole. POTUS is not a nice guy job. I wouldn’t want a nice guy in office. I’m a nice guy that wears my heart on my sleeve, I would not be a good POTUS. God puts all kinds of people on this planet for a reason. I know deep down Trump is a good man but he puts that side to rest when it’s time to do business. Most people do not have the ability to do so.

18
kd5ywa 18 points ago +18 / -0

The same "Christians" who say that are the same ones who say "hate the sin, not the sinner", a ghandi quote attributed to Jesus. So no, those aren't Christians. If you don't want to read your Bible and spout off fake nonsense. I seriously don't know what you are. A useful idiot for everything you say you are against, at best.

The older generation of R's want as decent a human being in office as possible. It's some Republicans. Just like it's some Democrats doing the same. I'd say its people overwhelmingly not understanding the optics of his Twitter messages. How many millions of free advertising dollars it is every time he tweets. Not to mention he's taking the brunt of the abuse instead of everyday citizens: this is the single biggest reason he's the best president ever, no sarcasm.

Sometimes having an asshole for a boss is great. Just stand back and let them deal with the assholes making your job harder.

Having a pushover for a boss is awful, you end up surrounded by incompetent people who make every moment of your day hell.

2

I have an endocrinologist who's an asshole when he needs to be, compassionate when he needs to be, and willing to work with intelligent patients in finding the best treatment for various endocrinological conditions (Natural treatments? Big Pharma? A mixture of both?).

Yeah, when I look for leadership, I do look for someone who can be an asshole when it's necessary, and can take my being an asshole right back at them (when necessary) when their assholeness is not warranted.

No good, proper Asshole Boss wants doormats under them. Good Asshole Bosses thrive when they are also pushed from under as well as encouraged from above.

A lot of trust then?

14
nmipede 14 points ago +14 / -0

She sure as hell didn't have a lot of trust at first. Tim needs a track record of actually clearly saying what he means about Trump for more than a week.

8
Barbs 8 points ago +8 / -0

How do you think he built his channel? By saying what he means clearly. Just because it isn’t always what we want to hear doesn’t mean he isn’t authentic or genuine.

In his opinion he’s only kept his channel afloat because he rides the line, so YouTube doesn’t ban him, and hopping off the fence to become a Trump supporter is a bigger risk for him than most realize.

I guarantee that he’s red-pilled far more people than anybody else here, probably combined.

1
nmipede 1 point ago +1 / -0

How do you think he built his channel? By saying what he means clearly.

OK, that's enough. He is FAMOUS for not taking a stance on anything. Up until a couple of weeks ago at most, he would say things like: "I feel like maybe Spez's actions in removing T_D are evil-ish?"

Not an exact quote, but reasonably accurate.

Look, you want to worship him, that's your choice. All I'm asking is that you all listen to what he actually says, not what you think he means. Have a nice weekend.

I struggle to believe that someone can fake being a Trump supporter though, there's multiple studies and visible evidence on Twitter and Reddit that the left does not understand the vast majority of Trump supporters or why people vote for Trump/ right wing politics. From what I've seen she seems legit but I understand why you'd be concerned.

Do you feel the same about ex-Bernie bros?

Completely disagree. While I don't agree all the time with Tim - he made the same steady rational transition Rubin did - just on a later time frame.
Candice rushed to the right in a panic because she hit the wrong hot button issue on the left and got "kicked out early."

Candice is a charlatan. An SJW that simply change the letter next to her name from a "D" to an "R" and the respective talking points.

I will never vote for her or support her in any way the same I would never and will never vote for or support in any way Hillary Clinton. I see the same kind of "opportunistic evil" in Candice as I did Clinton. I have zero doubt that Candice would order a drone strike on innocents in another country if it was politically and/or financially beneficial to her - as an example.

She is a snake - and a good one - hence why everyone but a very few who know her FULL history thinks she is the hot new thing just because she wears the same letter as them and is a BLACK FEMALE.

1
nmipede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Completely disagree with your assessment. You might be right, but I doubt it in the extreme. Have a nice weekend.

2
CovefeefevoC 2 points ago +2 / -0

I not only respect people who disagree with me, but even like them. I've not always thought the way I do today - the thing that changes that is from people who disagree with me and I hear them out.

You too have a good, no GREAT - and safe weekend.

ROCK N ROLL TRAIN

2
GeneralVeers 2 points ago +2 / -0

Heh. This thread is sounding like the comments sections on a LOT of Tim's YouTube videos: "c'mon Tim, take the red pill. Get on the Trump Train. MAGA beanie!" Etc etc etc.

Here's the deal. A good reporter keeps the personals separate from the news. Far too many sources these days are posting opinion pieces disguised as news. Tim doesn't do that. He reports on what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING. Sure, he mentions his personal opinions now and then, but he clearly delineates what is news and what is his opinion.

Beanie Man is a good reporter, and he doesn't have to be on the Trump Train to be a good reporter. I've been watching him for a couple years now. I watched him back when he was saying "I would never vote for Trump". I watch him today. I'll keep watching him unless and until he turns into a beanie-wearing Don Lemon.

I listened to him a few days ago, and he said he’d never vote Biden, and didn’t want to vote Trump either. He said he was going third choice, or wouldn’t vote at all. Podcast. So I dunno, still skeptical. Although he was very positive in his opinions. Sounded like a Trump Supporter.

1
anon572759 1 point ago +1 / -0

Tim also said he will never ever support any gun control rule or measure again. These leftists have redpilled Tim Pool so hard, he's now staunchly pro second amendment. Tim was saying how when he heard helicopters flying over his house and the sirens sounding, that's when he knew things had to change and that he needed a gun to protect himself.

My liberal friends who occasionally watch Tim Pool are absolutely livid that he's on the Trump train (they did this when Dave Rubin did it too lmao). But that's because they are idiots and barely pay attention to politics unless they happen to come across some fake news media's big dumb headline that they believe hook, line and sinker.
