Only female construction workers I’ve ever seen did final finish on buildings. Put up precut window moldings, cove base, put up batts, and cleaned the walls. Always final finish work. They were a special kind of woman too.
Edit: I’ve also known a couple female welders, but they did it for fun. They were good, and could probably do construction welding, but they did art projects.
Many years ago I would work construction in the summers. The token female laborers were the bane of all others because they sucked-up most of the easy jobs that men counted on as a cool-down time between the more physical tasks required. Anyone who has worked as a construction laborer on a job with women laborers can tell you that.
