I actually think they made the lack of live audience (for most things) work in their favor. The production was very good: it was smooth, no dead time, no awkward pauses. It kept moving, one speaker to the next, and the flow between speakers and videos was great. And the pacing was excellent. Long segments, short segments, deep emotions and also lighthearted moments.

I enjoyed it immensely.

Completely agree. No dead time and no waiting for applause lines and other time-consuming stuff meant they could squeeze way more speakers and videos in. The content was miles better than any convention I've ever seen, even the 2016 RNC.

Although nothing will ever top Trump's entrance at the 2016 RNC. :)

The best convention ever! It was amazing.

So well done!

After years of Republican content being so stale and lame (while the Hollyweird Dems made all the emotional well produced propaganda), it's very inspiring to see the RNC look like a top notch Trump Production while the DNC was to quote Jr "a week long I Hate America Zoom call".

Top fucking KAG

No one wants to watch someone else’s pathetic, desperate Zoom call.

The Democrats thought incorporating Zoom technology into their convention made them seem hip and tech savvy. Instead, it already feels dated and old. Bad strategy.

Also just not professional and amateur which I guess is what they are going for but it doesn’t inspire confidence.

Leave it to Donald J. Trump to take lemons (the pandemic) and turn it into lemonade. Every time.

Production was light years ahead of the DNC, they’re really missing Weinstein.
