But why was he being chased before the shooting started?

willy-willis [S] 391 points ago +392 / -1

Rosenbaum tried to grab his rifle, and clearly had a bunch of friends following him (one of whom fired off the first shot in the parking lot video). Seems to me that the logical sequence of events here was:

  • Rittenhouse and Rosenbaum were arguing.

  • Rosenbaum makes a grab for Rittenhouse's rifle, massively escalating the situation.

  • Rittenhouse, seeing that he's outnumbered and that a known lunatic is trying to seize his weapon, attempts to leave.

  • Rosenbaum and friends give chase, leading directly to the skirmish in the parking lot that killed him.

You can also see that Rosenbaum takes off his shirt and wears it like a mask before going after Kyle too

I mean, he's a child rapist and did 12 years in prison.

Asshole thought he was a badass and that he could pick on Kyle since Kyle was a loner out there and looked like a kid.

Then he found out.

Whimpy13 71 points ago +71 / -0

Don't you know that wearing a mask will make you impervious to tiny things like viruses so therefore it should stop larger things like bullets without a problem. /s obviously

37
StillplayenSometimes 37 points ago +37 / -0

But he was a good boy!! According to other criminals at the riots

35
minotaurbeach 35 points ago +35 / -0

he was going to kill him, or rape him and make a video of it for others to watch- he did not want to be identified from any media

24
DNC_Ballot_QATeam 24 points ago +24 / -0

He didn't have a gun but he was caught on video vandalizing the parked cars. I think he put the mask on because that building may have had video surveillance and it had light. He was high on drugs and a complete idiot. If I were to guess, he was in prison and released because of covid. No way that dude has managed to stay out of jail.

Foxbat40 7 points ago +7 / -0

You wear a mask like that right before you commit a crime.

I think it was a different shirt...has printed writing on it on his forehead...i see no print on his shirt during the “shoot me” video

9
RagnarD 9 points ago +9 / -0

The printing you see on his forehead would have been on the back of the t-shirt.

Trying to disarm someone with a weapon is justifiable reason for shooting them. There's only one thing they're going to do with that weapon after they get it. They're going to shoot you. Anybody crazy enough to do that is not planning to turn it in for a gun buyback

Amaud Arbery deserved to be shot for trying to take someones weapon. Change my mind.

45
MAGAmillionairess 45 points ago +46 / -1

This is the justification for the Arbery shooting too. People can argue all day that the father and son shouldn't have driven after him, but Arbery attempted to fight and disarm a man with a gun and ended up on the receiving end.

16
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 16 points ago +17 / -1

but people can gather outside Tucker Carlson's house because "this is America". Is there a law against following someone in public?

12
JohnScott 12 points ago +13 / -1

Yup. And they absolutely had a right to confront him. Any citizen has a right to intervene when they see a crime being committed.

5
endthefed11 5 points ago +5 / -0

Arbery literally ran around the truck towards the gun owner and started throwing punches. Totally justified. Thats why the original prosecutor refused to charge them.

20
DarkBerry 20 points ago +20 / -0

Agreed. Any rational gun owner would do that same. I am sad that Kyle had to kill someone, but happy it was someone who should have been executed on his first go at the legal system. Proud of my boy.

21
Randomite 21 points ago +21 / -0

I'm impressed that Kyle, 17, had the presence of mind and composure to not lose his weapon in all of this.

19
JohnScott 19 points ago +20 / -1

Yeah. We joke about it on here, but he has to live with killing two people in one night for the rest of his life. Hope he can properly contextualize it.

Trying to disarm someone with a weapon is justifiable reason for shooting them.

So that hero that got back the stolen rifles out of a cop's car, from ANTIFA, deserved to be shot?

13
kish-kumen 13 points ago +13 / -0

They weren't antifa's rifles, so no.

2
zooty 2 points ago +2 / -0
  1. Context is a thing.
  2. "Deserved" is a different thing than "justifiable reason".

To be clear, antifa guy arguably did have a justifiable reason if he feared for his life. However, he was likely an inexperienced little shit who had little idea of the operation of the weapon he was holding and knew he was in the wrong being confronted by a guy exhibiting confidence with a loaded weapon already drawn. He made the right decision and went home that night.

Also add in whichbwas shockingly covered by new york times someone discharged a pistol right near them images and video confirm it as Kyle was being chased it was shortly after when the guy caught up to Kyle that he turned and fired

What are the chances that was 1 arm guy that later tried to execute Kyle point blank?

53
fskfsk 53 points ago +53 / -0

https://thedonald.win/p/GvTrrpXU/new-kenosha-video-emerges-multip/c/

tl;dr

They identified Kyle as a potential victim and were stalking him the whole night. They were trying to set up the group of defenders so that one of them fired first, and then another person would murder them from behind.

33
Jabron661 33 points ago +33 / -0

This right here, it's summarizes the leftist mentality 100%.

Set yourself up as a victim to justify your violent reprisals, they think that makes it ok to kill whoever you don't like, cause whoever they don't like is akin to Hitler and should be dealt with, regardless of whether than person is Hitler or not.

They just want to take control and this is the mechanism leftist use to make it happen.

Kyle’s personal commitment and prowess is proven. His militia however...

...had shit planning and no understanding of strategy or proper tactics.

You don’t let security risks within melee distance of ranged weapons.

You don’t let the enemy dictate the pace of the engagement

You don’t neglect perimeter controls, obstructions, and engagement zones

You don’t expose your entire force’s attack surface at once

You don’t position your command HQ at the front

You don’t let your forces get individually separated

You don’t mass your forces into a single bunch

You don’t remain stationary

You don’t give up the element of surprise and deception

You don’t go into a battle without planning and rehearsing every contingency

You don’t get involved without allies, support from local civic authority, and solid legal clearances

Etc., etc...

Listen, and understand...

Maybe that's also why someone shot into the air, so they could accuse Kyle of shooting first

40
Pepega 40 points ago +41 / -1

Yeah there is a little lack of info here. But from this claim they are saying they were having words and the bald guy tries to grab his gun twice, after this, not sure how quickly.... Kyle retreats and is pursued through the first parking lot by the mob and baldy. Then we know the rest from there.

41
Keeneix 41 points ago +41 / -0

Why did the pedo want to get shot so badly? Is this a suicide by cop situation but instead of getting shot by a cop he wanted to get shot by a kid?

Damn it almost seems like he wanted to be remembered as a martyr instead of as a pedophile. Really makes ya think.

Exactly. Probably high as fuck, and he wouldn’t have had any of the bravado if he had been sober. Drugs probably made him feel 10 inches taller.

On another note. How many counts of murder 1 did the shitty DA stack against Kyle? They charged Kyle so fast, without video evidence, without shit. That DA can get fucked. We should be protesting his office now

Psychopaths have to dominate and control others in every social encounter.

You normally think of pedos as just pathetic losers who sneak around in the shadows trying to find an opportunity to manipulate some kid into "consenting".

But I've been noticing lately that these leftist pedophiles (and radical leftists in general) are just psychopaths, and children are just easy to dominate and that's why they go after children.

Notice how the most radical leftist (and pro-Islam) politicians always assert dominance when they get caught and go on a rampage against their accusers and refuse to apologize.

There was a story a while back about a transgender who raped a little girl. When the accusation came out, the transgender called their victim a, "little slut running her mouth". I knew right then that it was that psychopathic personality type and that they were absolutely guilty.

These people are all little tyrants inside who need to domineer over others.

And that's probably exactly why this pedo chased after the kid with the gun. The gun means the kid is in control and the psychopath pedophile couldn't stand it. He had to try and domineer and control, and he got blown away for it.

23
stratocaster_patriot 23 points ago +23 / -0

Psychopaths are also known to not accurately assess situations which is in line with this guy trying to grab someone's gun and then gong after an armed man and getting killed.

20
rooftoptendie 20 points ago +20 / -0

dahvie vanity, lead singer of Blood On The Dance floor, got his entire fan base and all the other members of his band, to bully a 11 year old girl that he raped into keeping her mouth shut about it.

If anyone remembers You Dun Goofed, that was that girl. The absolute worst part of the whole thing is that GMA invited the girl on, and spent the entire time she was on the show subtly (and a few times not so subtly) slut-shaming her and calling her a liar. Imagine slut-shaming an 11 y.o. girl on national TV because a 20something serial rapist raped her.

But yeah, there is a serious element of control and domination.

18
Scroon 18 points ago +18 / -0

I wholeheartedly agree with this statement.

Bits and pieces of a psychopath's brain get engaged in a way that doesn't happen in normal people. The psychological need to prove that the young man didn't best him overrode any rational survival instincts.

He probably thought Kyle was young, weak and an easy target. This guy was probably a bully his whole life. I knew a super short dude in junior high who was like that.

Victim profiling is also something pedos do. Trying to figure out who won't report them, etc.

His lengthy stay in prison probably further refined his ability to read people.

Still, they weren't good enough and he misjudged whether someone would fight back.
