I’m not Catholic.

The Lord has ordained government to restrain evil, and when it does not it is not a legitimate government.

If you truly understood the gospel, a Christian cannot just murder someone and say “whoopsy, please forgive me”. He either is not a Christian or is in for some severe discipline from the Lord.
