Not only am I thankful this kid put this guy down, I am so proud. What bravery this guy had to go into a battle zone to protect property as well as help wounded victims (either side). I am impressed! Good to know there are such great kids out there. Kyle, Sandman,... these kids have strength, courage and self control in very dire circumstances. Im working on raising the same kind of men.

Its actually one case, CR20021139-001 if anyone wants to bother going down to Pima County recorder and looking it up. It seems there may be multiple counts in the indictment, going by the sentencing guidelines.
Sexual contact w/ minor in AZ is defined in ARS 13-1405 as "A person commits sexual conduct with a minor by intentionally or knowingly engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact with any person who is under eighteen years of age."
The same section also tells us: "Sexual conduct with a minor who is under fifteen years of age is a class 2 felony and is punishable pursuant to section 13-705. Sexual conduct with a minor who is at least fifteen years of age is a class 6 felony."
Looking at the saved copy of the record, it looks like 2 counts of sexual conduct back in 2002 for a total of 12.5 years. Somewhere along the line it appears he was released on probation with a tracker but then messed with that tracker landing him another 2.5 years (didn't serve all of it though).
That plus all of the behavioral misconduct during his initial time in prison and it's amazing he hadn't wound up dead sooner.
