If I'm informed later that charges are being filed, I'll voluntarily surrender myself again to my local department, which is what he did. It's insane that they're trying to throw an "evading arrest" charge in there too. What did they expect him to do? Stand around for 24 hours in case the cops decided to arrest him after all?
