This is absolutely disgusting behavior by the news media to try to spin a patently untrue narrative. It's clear that Kyle the "mass shooter," was being attacked and was doing the responsible thing by trying to back off. He was running away! This is called de-escalation and is what the left has been crying for the police to do themselves. The problem here is that it emboldened his attackers instead of getting them to back off. This is one of the downsides of de-escalation, hence the saying, "give an inch and take a mile." He was the 17-year-old who was being responsible and acting as a responsible gun owner should act in this situation. He didn't use deadly force until he had no other option.

The media is actually trying to paint the second guy with the skateboard as a hero who ran towards the situation in order to help. It's patently false and I can only assume that as more and more information comes out it will only get better for Kyle. However, by then his life will be ruined and his reputation tarnished forever.

Usually, I reserve judgment in these situations and wait for all of the facts, but here it is clear that the media is outright lying.

I seem to recall a man in Arizona did the same thing and had no charges filed against him. The key here is don’t live in a commie state.
