This is the key part:

Richie would later tell me that he saw what prompted the first shooting. A verbal fight escalated as the victim tried grabbing the alleged shooter’s rifle – twice. The second time, Richie told me, the victim came very close to getting his hand on the man’s gun, trying to grab it away from him. He may have actually made contact, but it’s unclear amid the mayhem. That’s when the shooter fired.

Everything else, including the fact that someone other than Kyle had fired the first shot of the night, I'd already learned from other sources. But now we know from eyewitness and Daily Caller employee Richie McGinniss that what set the events in motion was Rosenbaum (bald pedo) arguing with Rittenhouse, then trying to grab his gun. Rittenhouse did not start the fight, point his rifle at anyone, threaten to shoot anyone, etc. Rosenbaum's death and everything that followed was Rosenbaum's own fault.

Edit: Two users have kindly linked me to the charging papers, including McGinniss' full statement explaining what he saw in as much detail as he could give. Looks just as much, if not even more than before, to be a smooth open-and-shut case for Rittenhouse and his lawyers - the pedo definitely initiated the confrontation even before he and his friends started chasing Kyle at full speed.
