I think it's more the democrats are driving away normal people. They're becoming more and more extreme and codifying every liberal precept as doctrine. There's no room for you in that party unless you're 100% on board with being anti-white, anti-christian, anti-life, anti-nuclear family, and anti-man.

Keep in mind, they don't necessarily stand for anything, that's why there's so many groups that are fundamentally incompatible (think of trans people vs feminists and gay people vs islam). Honestly, the dems are a perfect example of people setting aside their differences to achieve a common goal. It's just too bad that goal is destroying America...
