It's called "prosecutorial discretion" and it means the DA is the one who gets to decide who should and shouldn't be charged.

And once the decision that DA makes consistently shows that they are against the protection of their own people by not charging any of the rioters, they are aiding and abetting in the continued criminal activity.

We need ways beyond "voting them out of office" to make them accountable.
