I've heard trauma surgeons talk about treating pelvic gunshots. They all say it's pretty much a desth sentence if it's even moderately substantial damage. If he didn't die so quickly from the chest damage, he probably would have bled out from the pelvic shot.
Goes for gunshots, crushing, breaks, etc. Pelvis can bleed a lot. I saw a video in emt school of a guy with a crushed pelvis and his balls, ass, and cock were all purple literally about to bust full of blood.
Oof. Only thing I have seen that gave me worse sympathy ball pain was a picture of a dude who had tried to steal copper wiring from a transformer station. The current traveled from his arm, through his torso, and jumped out through his groin to get to ground. It literally blew his dick and balls off.
