you know, I don't really know. Im a female, and so I'm not always self-aware about why I react the way I do when it comes to that kind of thing.

The best I can explain it is I thought he was having some kind of seizure or spasm as his brains tried to hold themselves together... and I empathized with what I was seeing overly, and it made me feel disgusted and sick, kind of nauseous, like if I was to see a big disgusting spider rushing at me, similar feeling. Disturbed.

But when I realize what I saw was him like losing oxygen to his brain and bleeding out and being generally in traumatic pain, that doesn't gross me out. I still find the whole thing distasteful of course... but not make-me-sick grossed out.

Its also a BIG reminder to me that I have to take a step back when I see these videos that fly around all over the place because CONTEXT is EVERYTHING.

I think you felt like that because you are rational and empathetic human being.

The people we saw on this video are neither rational nor capable of empathy. They lost this long ago.

Never lose your empathy, but stand strong and do what you must

I am a female so I can’t say it’s not a female thing but I do think it’s more of just a human thing. A lot of people don’t value life anymore but when you do it’s always sobering to see it being lost.

You were hearing his last breaths coming from a lung that was basically hamburger at that point and a perforated liver (which will basically explode blood internally); I think, as his color abruptly changed to gray (watch the video) that we saw him die right there.

Same here I felt sick watching the guy die. I think that's just a normal reaction though, watching anyone die is traumatizing regardless of what criminal background they had. I feel honestly he got what he deserved, but it's still traumatic to watch.
