Maybe every year or so, I do work in the Bay Area. Typically Marin County but I typically end up driving through San Franciso on the way there.
Should be interesting if I drive through SF given the mass exodus. Maybe six months ago, one of my clients wanted me to do a job in Oakland but I was too busy. Same for another client who had a job in SF.
Even when I'm up there, I only stay for a night. Being from Texas, I can drive all day and into the night.
Yup. Last October, I was contacted by one about a job opening in San Francisco.
Told him "no."
Several months later, he contacted me again and said I could work in the downtown Los Angeles office. Turned him down again.
Eventually, these firms will move into more afforable areas with normal people and less crazy folk.
I worked for a year there 20 years ago and even 20 years ago I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Am I based or what!
