The video of "shoot me nigga" dude being the aggressor not clear enough? Actively retreating from the lynch mob yelling "get his ass" makes him a threat? The author then wants you to suspend your belief in the reality you have just witnessed and buy into the notion the mob were the "diverse group of good guys".
