You are not kidding. Just looked it up and read that rage inducing pile of journalistic vomit. I knew it was going to be a tough read after the second sentence: "Videos of the event tell us an incomplete story of what, exactly, happened that night." The video of "shoot me nigga" dude being the aggressor not clear enough? Actively retreating from the lynch mob yelling "get his ass" makes him a threat? The author then wants you to suspend your belief in the reality you have just witnessed and buy into the notion the mob were the "diverse group of good guys". And then does an epic mental gymnastic dismount by making it a white vs black issue. Truly rage inducing.
