They should make a note that he is deceased but keep him on the records, it is meaningful information.

Pre crime...gotta love it. Big cup of nope. Innocent until proven guilty.

His file doesn't disappear.

Was his name ever on the Wisconsin site? I've only seen that it was on the Arizona website, where the crime was committed.

If it wasn't, he may have not disclosed his move and registered in Wisco or he may have been traveling with rioters. This registry should be compiled nationally, if it isn't already.

Yes, and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a legal reason it's hidden. The sex offender registry is a violation of privacy but is allowed in the name of protecting citizens from dangerous people. Once the person is dead, they aren't very dangerous anymore. It might be more difficult to keep them on the public list.

Criminal history is a matter of public record. I'd prefer rhey keep them in prison or executed them.

Not much of a violation considering criminal records are already public. And frankly child rapists aren't human and don't deserve rights anyway.

Yeah, what if a kid comes forward later with abuse claims. Not that they could prosecute him but it would be useful information for helping that kid recover.

To be fair there's lots of information that the government could provide to keep people safe, but don't. "This person had Covid" comes to mind.

That’s literally how hitler murdered Jews. Fuck the government and any info they have on me. And fuck you for thinking it’s ok for them to give out my health info.

2
BigIronBigIron 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wrong. I don't think it's ok for them to give out your health info...

HIPAA law protects you, but it the same obstacle that prevents background checks to check into health evaluations for the criminally insane.
