HIPAA law protects you, but it the same obstacle that prevents background checks to check into health evaluations for the criminally insane.

Depression can make people act weird. Small minority will do harm, but like they say, "murder-suicide is plural, so you won't be dying alone".

HIPAA is part of the problem with keeping guns out of the hands of people with the crazy.

Yes. And AFTER they do harm ... YOU PROSECUTE! PRE Crime "prosecution" IS CRIMINAL , and UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
