I've met the mayor of Eveleth. They're trying to save their jobs and without a party switch i don't buy it. I'll tell him that and the virginia mayor next time i see them. Either change affiliation or you'll do what you're told by the dems if Biden wins.

Mondale was from Minnesota - which might have had something to do with it, but you are right - MN has voted Blue every Presidential Election since 1932, except for 1952 and 1956 (both Eisenhower) and 1972 (Nixon).
Every single one of these six cities was in a blue county (St. Louis county or Lake County) in Minnesota in 2016. Hillary won both of those counties.
