I worked with an aging boomer who couldnt discipline himself with modern technology any better than a toddler could. All day every day - tick-tick-tick... Finally I had to blow up on him before my sanity was irrecoverable. Imagine a world free of irritating artificial noises and people addicted to their phones. I once lived lived in such a world.
When I have my younger siblings over for dinner or go out to eat with them, they know it's a rule that they have to keep their phones put away the whole time. They complained at first, but now they enjoy it. Just an hour or two away from the constant texts and status updates can bring a lot of happiness.
