Kyle works in Kenosha, after work he went and cleaned buildings from the graffiti. Then when a car dealer asked for help defending his buildings, he volunteered to stand guard. They gave him a gun just in case. He also had a medical kit to help anyone injured. He went and helped injured rioters until he got separated from the building he had been guarding due to the police moving the line back. He attempted to get to the other building, someone fired a gun. Kyle was seen with a gun so they started chasing him, threw a moltov cocktail at him so he turned and fired at the nearest target, hitting him. He was then on the phone calling 911 for help for the wounded person when they found him again and stated chasing him again. He tripped, one came at him with a gun, trying to grab his, he fired and the guy lost a lot of his arm. Another started hitting him in the head with a skateboard, he fired again, guy died. He also shot another who was kicking him in the head, think that one died also. So no not a retard at all, did not cross state lines with a gun but was there working.
