Listen, I’m in Cali. 3/4ths of the folks I know are liberal as fuck and pretend to be brave by calling orange man bad on social media even though they face no consequences for it. They call us evil. They call us terrible things. Today, one of them took the brace step of asking any Trump sympathizer to unfriend them.
I didn’t unfriend them because... fuck you that’s why.
I cannot wait to vote. Their bigotry feeds my motivation to vote.
I post subtle things from their own trusted sources (sure, maybe 5 yrs ago or whatever, but highlights their hypocrisy). I post reasonable things
I try to dampen their enthusiasm.
I know I cannot win them over. They are infected by a disease that will take years to cure. But...it can be cured if we win again. And again. And again. We keep winning until they are cured of their racist, authoritarian, victim blaming (when they blame folks for defending themselves) bullshit.
