Another thing is you can’t just kill someone and then say “don’t worry, I’m on my way to the police” and then people just let you go hoping you’re telling the truth.
Why would you yell "get him" instead of just following while calling the cops yourself? Especially if you're armed, and the dude was not actively posing a threat to you. Why wouldn't you say "Ok, I'm coming with you, and we can let them handle it."
He was clearly looking for someone else to perform street justice, and when the first one failed, he took matters into his own hands.
It shows that he didn't fear for his life enough to pull his own gun out (which he was unlawfully possessing) until the guy in front of him, which he incited to violently attack Kyle, was (rightfully) shot.
There are laws against inciting a mob attack/riot.
