When I was 18 I was thinking about getting laid, going to parties, what I wanted to be when I grew up and how my life would turn out. The idea to murder people never crossed my mind. The families of those people are now forever destroyed. All they will now ever have are the memories of them and no longer will there ever be more. They’ll never again laugh or watch a movie together or share a milkshake or talk about their dreams. Their family members will always have a hole in their lives, an emptiness, that will never be filled no matter how much time passes. I weep for our society.
