Restricting pharma drug prices alone is more left-leaning than anything the left has ever done, and the leftists are tripping over themselves trying to justify why it's a bad thing, or how it's not the result of Trump's actions. All of the healthcare policies that they fawn over that Bernie is supposedly for would never be possible without restrictions on pharma companies such as that. It means we will essentially no longer subsidize European (and the world's) drug prices by paying jacked up prices.

Even Obama, who ran on massive healthcare reform, refused to do it, instead opting for a half-assed government plan that was ineffective because at the end of the day the taxpayer couldn't cover the cost of artificially high prices. He, like everyone else, was too afraid to cut into pharmaceutical profit, afraid of how they might try to get back at him.

Leftists have a truly liberal (in the original, classical sense, not the perverted liberalism we see now) president in office right now and refuse to acknowledge it because he's red instead of blue and doesn't pander to globalization. To reform healthcare in the United States to be something more in line with what Europe has would have to be done in unison with nationalistic policy and is inherently anti-globalist. They're so, so fucking dumb and don't understand anything on a basic conceptual level. Everything is just overly-emotional rhetoric
