Reloading supplies are in demand these days too. I know there is a lot of demand on the used market for reloading equipment in California.

Some of us cast and swage our own bullets too, not just reloading.

Alox coated. Easy. I prefer powder coated, so I buy them too. Need to set up a powder coat rig and do it myself.

I’d like to make my own API rounds somehow.

Any pede with reloading questions feel free to send me questions. That being said, components are scarce especially primers however it can't hurt to have options. Be advised it's a hobby in it's own right and will take a not insignificant amount of time to learn.

Hope much of a PITA is it to reload 5.56?

Not really that difficult if you're just going for better than factory accuracy. Especially if you're starting with new brass that doesn't need processing. Right now primers are extremely scarce.

I'm feeling generous. Sure, it might be fragmented and recently used, but beggars can't be choosers.
