The cost of staying home is playing out today.
Every fucking lefty in my life told me there was no stopping the virus when Trump pushed for travel bans - that he was just using the virus as an excuse to be a racist. They said the virus was absolutely going to come to America, it was going to rip through most of the population, and that the only thing we could do was flatten the curve as best we could to delay the inevitable and overwhelming crush on our hospitals and healthcare systems.
Then they said Trump wasn't taking the virus seriously. They tossed out figures like "2 million dead".
Now we're to believe that the virus was 100% preventable, that less than 10% of initial estimated fatalities is an unbelievable and unforgivable failing of government, that Trump basically murdered 200k Americans (or whatever fake ass inflated numbers they've got at this point) personally with a machine gun, that none of this would have happened if Obama or Hillary were president.
None of their narratives bear any resemblance to the shit they were saying yesterday, last week, last month. It's pure partisan panic 24/7, no coherence or consistency whatsoever. These people are literally fucking crazy.
