Having a camera man inside your live fire drill is insanely dangerous. Please set up remote cameras if you insist on doing this. Or use a paintball gun. Please.
I would like to. Unfortunately where I live (a city), there are a shit-load of hoops to jump through and I just don't have the time. Last time I checked a few years ago, it was a mess of permits.
Anyone have a good resource for state-by-state resources on how to go through the process that are current? City ordinances make things more complicated.
Is it a permit to own a firearm or a permit to conceal carry one? Because if they're requiring permits to own a firearm that is disgusting and im sorry you have to live with people like that
Yeah, not even for CCW. Just to buy and own and have in your home. Stay away from blue state cities if you like your hobby.
I've been wanting to look at this again and spend some time trying to figure it out, but who fucking knows. It seems they can delay you for however long they want and may end up denying you altogether. You may have to go ask your middle-school principal from decades ago to write a recommendation letter. Meanwhile, shootings in the hood err'day.
2:34 the camera lags the shooter. The next runs of the drill the camera man moved behind the shooter faster. No offense but a tiny error by the shooter can lead to injury. Please be safe Patriots
Also he had to turn while firebomb was being thrown at him 'alledgedly' inbetween two cars. Also, make sure the body is facing the other way after shot towards 'Kyle'. Also, get hit 3 times and post while the assaliant to his right can shoot with a paintball gun.
To be clear, that definitely wasn't a firebomb. Pedo was holding a plastic bag at the beginning with some bottles in it. He threw that same bag at Kyle when he chased him between those cars. The backlight makes the plastic look like flames. Later footage shows a plastic bag with a bottle in it on the ground where he threw it.
Adrenaline does some insane things to the body, it would let him run longer without the same fatigue, it would even let him focus better for his threat detection and his shot placement. As long as you don't panic, and I didn't see a panicked 17 year old. I saw a kid who was trying to leave a shit situation.
Then well trained militants can recreate the exercise. Even if they have been through that exact scenario, could recreate it accurately (even with bofer weapons) and do a case study on how well he was trained or how he was 'quick act' or lucky.
Running down a hill is not a fire bottle. A target is not a target unless it is between two cars.
Nitrate gloves should be used.
Two assalaints that you will not know where they come from (that will knock you to the tarmac) is a good case study and real world application.
I am not saying all the shots will be the exact same, but it will give a real scenario.
And if grown men can do ot after 4 iterations. Then find a 17 year d that can even do the test presented in the video.
I am not an expert in this field, but I was sort of impressed Kyle managed to do what he did also. How do I even begin getting that kind of training? Do people in the armed services learn to handle themselves like that?
I have some gun experience but I would have choked in a Kyle situation.
Not trying to take anything away from Kyle, but it was pretty much adrenalin and instinct. When you're in survival mode, you'd be amazed at what you're capable of doing. People in those kinds of situations always describe it as a blur because of that - raw survival instinct taking control.
Training automatically kicks in. I’m almost 99% sure he never practiced that drill, but just knowing your weapon and doing it over and over will help when real shit starts off. His mind was just doing what it already knew, and his body followed along.
Just to be real, at 17 years old I have some strong doubts he's ever went through any sort of tactical training. The rifle was his friend's that lived in the area, so he probably almost never had any training. He managed to get a good sight on pedo1 at a close distance with a rifle, simple hits. The other 2 faggots were hardly a foot from the end of the barrel. But with that said, Kyle showed badass technique still. He hardly looked flustered the whole time and kept his cool which is probably the most important thing you can do in that situation. He truly handled it like a champ.
There is a pic of him with an AR15 as a young kid, so he's been around guns his whole life. Where I live, everyone owns guns and we're all getting prepared for the worst, which includes tactical drills/training. Kyle likely didn't have professional tactical training, but it's pretty clear he's had some training, likely from his father. You know, the guy who raised this bad ass American.
He was point shooting at close range with a rifle its not god tier oper8or or anything but he rand several hundred yards before falling which i find more impressive
You don’t need “tactical training” to know how to use your weapon. He obviously handled the situation well all around. He for sure shot rifles a decent amount. Any amount of shooting and getting to know a weapon is training. His awareness and restraint are the biggest things to take from this. And that’s not just survival instinct. He was cool headed and aware bc he’s had training. He was a cadet at the police academy, not that they do any military/tactical training but it helps.
Sadly it would have been simple for the bad guys to have won if they thought for about 2 seconds. Ditch the strikes and hits and tackle instead, leave zero distance between you and Kyle, none, then wrestle for the rifle.
The bad guys had no clue so they lost badly. Kyle needed a handgun as backup but lucked out to have to fight retards.
Practice shooting from all different positions, close quarters as well (safety first).
Also stove pipe or double feed drills with dummy rounds. Very important.
Luckily, I've owned pretty shitty firearms in my youth so clearing any sorts of malfunction is already drilled into my head. Unfortunately, now all the firearms I own are pretty much never jamming. Looking at you Les Baer 1911.
Ok, I have set up a 2080 meter range before and one of the guns we were shooting was a 25-06 (slightly larger bullet with slightly greater muzzle velocity). The only rifle we could get to hit within 100 feet of the target was an $89.00 Yugoslavian 8mm mouser.
A .223 may be able to travel that distance but there is almost no energy in it. Even the 8mm was tumbling and falling at an angle such that when they would impact water it went in with a disappointing "ploop"
I suspect that much of Kyle's future history will be redacted as is the case with all special operators. The only thing we may ever know for certain is which branch he joins. After that he simply becomes a ghost, kind of a white hat Keyser Söze.
Somewhat incorrect in the recreation. Kyle was on his back and rolling as he shot Sk8erBoi. Unbelievable marksmanship for anyone but especially so for a 17 year old without combat training. God was truly helping guide Kyle's aim.
We do situational drills in our back yard range all of the time. When working with noobs, we always get them familiar with their weapon, comfortable with firing it, and then run them through a drill that simulates the reason they want the firearm in the first place.
Kyle had been hit and gun being grabbed at and still got those shots.. ran a whole lot more with live rounds going around him with a zombie horde after him. this is cute but only guys over seas know the Kyle drill
Quick question for the tactical shooters / trainers out there. I noticed the shooters turned to their right when engaging the targets. It seemed to my untrained eye that slowed target acquisition by a second or so. Is that the normal case?
almost as low enegry as jeb!
Having a camera man inside your live fire drill is insanely dangerous. Please set up remote cameras if you insist on doing this. Or use a paintball gun. Please.
Not a gun owner, but seriously--this is one of those "DO NOT try this at home" things.
Its not any more dangerous than practicing in a two-man team
Also, buy a gun.

The camera man is in the line of fire. A two man team knows not to do this
when is he in the line of fire?
2:34 the camera lags the shooter. The next runs of the drill the camera man moved behind the shooter faster. No offense but a tiny error by the shooter can lead to injury. Please be safe Patriots
Go watch people train in a shoothouse you'll probably wet yourself!
shoot me nigga
I'm surprised no one gave that guy shit for saying nigga as a white guy.
I guess it's okay if you're on their side...
Yeah since when does the left shrug and smile when a white guy says the magic word?
We got the “yo homie” and now the “shoot me nigga”.
BUST ON ME NIGGA
"Bust on me!"
Also he had to turn while firebomb was being thrown at him 'alledgedly' inbetween two cars. Also, make sure the body is facing the other way after shot towards 'Kyle'. Also, get hit 3 times and post while the assaliant to his right can shoot with a paintball gun.
No what are the results.
There was no firebomb. It was a bag with something in it. Possibly a brick
Someone said it was a bottle of coke. Kinda looks like a 20 oz plastic bottle
I believed the same thing man apparently the back light though the bag made it look on fire. I was convinced it was burning too. Wasn't though.
I hadn't even thought about that. Dude must've been exhausted
Adrenaline does some insane things to the body, it would let him run longer without the same fatigue, it would even let him focus better for his threat detection and his shot placement. Fire bomb... in btween two cars and pulled of a head and 4 other shots.
Multiple assailaints beating him to the tarmac. Low post and 4 shots fired.
So, how is a 17 yr old so much more accurate than a 'pro'?
That shit was raw instinct on Kenosha Kyle's part, God was with him
Then well trained militants can recreate the exercise. Even if they have been through that exact scenario, could recreate it accurately (even with bofer weapons) and do a case study on how well he was trained or how he was 'quick act' or lucky.

This kid must be an olympian.
Kyle was not alone out there. He was defending against evil and so Kyle had the best help.
yeah, let's pray for the country and our President and his family and all who stand for the Constitution
And pray for the souls of those who oppose us, that their hearts might be changed before they create more situations like Kenosha.
Because if they don't, we'll be forced to pray for them after their passing.
I am not an expert in this field, but I was sort of impressed Kyle managed to do what he did also. How do I even begin getting that kind of training? Do people in the armed services learn to handle themselves like that?
I have some gun experience but I would have choked in a Kyle situation.
Adrenaline, serenity and mindfulness
A little helpful hand from a guardian angel
Schools like Thunder Ranch and Tactical Response teach gun fighting and cover fighting from the ground like Kyle had to do.
Not trying to take anything away from Kyle, but it was pretty much adrenalin and instinct. When you're in survival mode, you'd be amazed at what you're capable of doing. People in those kinds of situations always describe it as a blur because of that - raw survival instinct taking control.

Lesser men would have gotten freaked out by the mob chasing them and fired indescriminately. Kyle's restraint probably saved a handful of lives
Very true.

Yeah that's a good point

Helps that he has been shooting since he was 5 years old.
The moment of hesitation can't be trained for. You either believe in your purpose or you don't.
3 days later and Kyle is a legend. What a time to be alive
We are. I pray this doesn't come to more bloodshed.
But as they say, si vis pacem para bellum
That was fun. I feel like the drill needs more pressure. Maybe throw tomatoes at the person training. Also, you need someone yelling "shoot me!!" 😁
Nice!
Nicely done!
I think he was jogging, not sprinting
Did they spray paint the arm on the cut out lmao
I think Kyle was a lot sharper!
"I'm gonna turn and engage pedo.. pedo 1 over here."
Looooool
Only CGI could recreate what a badass Kyle is.
Remember kids:
Practice shooting from all different positions, close quarters as well (safety first).
Also stove pipe or double feed drills with dummy rounds. Very important.

Fun fact:
The .223 Remington can reach out to 3,875 yards - over 2 miles.
Or it can can cause all kinds of damage inside 30 feet.
Ok, I have set up a 2080 meter range before and one of the guns we were shooting was a 25-06 (slightly larger bullet with slightly greater muzzle velocity). Yes - looses the punch for sure.
The round is clearly not intended to be a long range round.
But in testing, the right bullet type, from the right barrel - with the right shooter - will ping a plate at that distance.
These guys hit at 1500 yards on their range - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOumuAb1KEQ
This guy is a beast, hopefully Kyle can go train some more with him after his release from jail
I suspect that much of Kyle's future history will be redacted as is the case with all special operators. The only thing we may ever know for certain is which branch he joins. After that he simply becomes a ghost, kind of a white hat Keyser Söze.
The tales of the Kenosha kid are spreading
Somewhat incorrect in the recreation. Kyle was on his back and rolling as he shot Sk8erBoi. Unbelievable marksmanship for anyone but especially so for a 17 year old without combat training. God was truly helping guide Kyle's aim.
That's great but they forgot the groin shot on pedo 1
We do situational drills in our back yard range all of the time. When working with noobs, we always get them familiar with their weapon, comfortable with firing it, and then run them through a drill that simulates the reason they want the firearm in the first place.
“Unfortunately we don’t have a powder pack to simulate the pink mist”
Hilarious
Needs more pink mist.
Train train train, libs can buy guns but we must always be highly trained.
Lol this is great
And that was only birdshot...but at that range its more like a slug.
Kyle had been hit and gun being grabbed at and still got those shots.. ran a whole lot more with live rounds going around him with a zombie horde after him. this is cute but only guys over seas know the Kyle drill
Lol
Quick question for the tactical shooters / trainers out there. I noticed the shooters turned to their right when engaging the targets. It seemed to my untrained eye that slowed target acquisition by a second or so. Is that the normal case?
Generally you do what is most natural and the repeat that action (rep) over and over. He was not moving at full speed.
BASED
Too awesome for words.
😭😭😭😭😭.... I'm not hit but I'm dead
That's hilarious.
pedo 1 hahaa
We're going to expedite a sitting position
WHY DID YOU FILM THIS IN SLOW MOTION?
single point slings are making a huge comeback.
