Police aren’t some “independent organization,” they operate at the behest of their Mayor. The Mayor is the chess master, and the cops are the pawns. It’s a top-down hierarchy.
That’s like saying “I dunno why we support the troops, they do nothing to deserve it.”
The troops are defending our country and Constitution. Cops are sitting by and watching it burn right now. This would have been over before it started if they didn't abandon Minneapolis as their city burned to the ground. We're seeing it time and time again in these riots. Police won't uphold their oath and have no problem breaking it for politicians.
I think too many here don't want to accept that.
Heck, too many here still think they are being awesome by telling everyone to "Back the boys in blue" despite police doing nothing to deserve this.
