Been following US since Trump 2016.

Been watching the slow escalation in US since then. Trump was obviously not meant to win.

Seeing the gaslighting of an entire country has been intense.

Then to see Kyle brings it all into too sharp relief for me.

If he didn't kill those people he most likely would have died or suffered permanent injury. Beaten or killed by the scum of society in a country where they have been showcasing to psychos that there are no rules.

They died. And it's not that they deserved it... I don't know them. But their riot rage overrode their logic to the point that they didn't see that you cannot tackle someone with an AR.

I've been able to handle it all up until this point. I can still handle it. But fuck

It's a pretty tense situation. The right is held back from joining the fray. We have families and jobs to take care of our families. But as this shit tries to move out of their commie safe spaces into less friendly areas they are going to be killed in larger numbers. Nearly every dude who ever served has at least one AR and buckets of ammo or very fast access to one. Kyle just got 3 of them carrying a Smith & Wesson AR w/ a shitty Chinese optic. What happens when they wander through that fag who wears the flannel shirts neighborhood? He could smoke them indiscriminately.

Liver_Kick 21 points ago +21 / -0

That's a great idea. Fence in his new range, stock it with commies, and turn it into a hunting preserve.

Flannel Daddy would breeze straight through them like a ghost and emerge the other side with his greatest ever youtube video. 10/10 would pay to watch.

"If you have graduated from COD to giving commies helicopter rides..., go ahead and hit that like button"

SuperSilly 6 points ago +6 / -0

This is exactly right. In every area that Antifa/BLM has shown up where they got any type of push-back, they didn't return. The cops had to protect Antifa/BLM when they showed up at Sturgis like the dumb fucks they are. They don't go places where there is any pushback.

I'm sitting here reading this post and I'm with you, then I get to the sentence " What happens when they wander through that fag who wears the flannel shirts neighborhood" And I'm like "whodafuck is the fag with the flannel shirt?" See "flannel daddy" in the replies and LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO

I don't think foreigners can ever understand America. We are made up of huge class and cultural differences that go back centuries. In some regions we get along so much better than others. Believe it or NOT the South is way more harmonious because we are kin in culture. It's also a giant country. Australia's big honey. But you can't live in half of it without dying like a dog in hot truck.

This nation is never ever ever gonna give up guns. That ain't going to happen. They can yammer on all they want. This isn't Australia and we shall not comply. They are laying around like pennies under couches here. People have guns they've forgotten about there's so many.

Another thing, we will not be baited into some phoney ass civil war by a minority with fake grievances. These people have set asides beside set asides. They can stfu. My daughter was just DENIED a federal work study because get this, we make too much money. Really??? really seh wanted to work on campus. But her parents are some how rich. I don't fucking think so. Show me my wealth. But if she was black she'd have velvet seat.

“Diversity is our greatest strength “ brought to us by the RNC and DNC.some douchebags want more diverse cultures.

I had some friends who all went to America, bought a second hand van, painted the Aussie flag on it and travelled round America.

They told me that the South was the best and they never wanted to leave. So much hospitality. I think my friend is still in love with a Southern Belle he met 15 years later and considers her the one who got away.

I used to be brainwashed into believing that the US had an unhealthy relationship with guns and that anyone who didn't support gun reform was mental.

The media over here about US is really only a distilled version of your CNNs. I.e. Obama was a noble King and Trump is a bufoonish dictator and guns are bad. Most people believe it because why would they care... It's not their country.

But I have been awakened. I now know that an armed populace is necessary to protect against a potentially dictatorial government. I'm saddened that Australia was essentially disarmed years ago through a "gun buyback" program that was driven by fear and virtue signalling.

Best of luck fellow pede! Glad you guys have lots of guns. Looks like you might need them.

5
Rothbard 5 points ago +5 / -0

There is a growing number of Aussies who are pro guns.

Almost all my mates (around 30) are pro guns. I think its due to being more involved in American politics and culture. We see things like Kyle and go fuck wish I had a gun.

When we were 20 we were all happy with some gun control. I think its changing.

Problem is a lot of the shooters and farmers dont really support it enough cause they have access to the guns they want so they dont care.

3
Snakecasablanca83 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Makes sense that a growing number of people become pro guns when they start to see the fabric of society start to tear!

You might be surprised at how well some do. This is why we swear the Oath of Allegiance. And none of us take that lightly. (American Aussie)

6
seaside_dreams 6 points ago +6 / -0

Flag point taken. I know folks like you appreciate it. I just mean people from afar and visitors. Heck, I even think Americans who spend all their lives in one city/region are very tight minded.

8
RuPaw 8 points ago +8 / -0

The problems that you describe are not confined to the US anymore. Where I live, the media is INSANE! Even the church moved to the left.

Multiculturalism is a new religion. We have nongovernmental areas in almost all big cities. Look at Germany: Merkel is the head of government, her party is the Christian Democratic Union, the Party you could compare to the Republicans, but she acts like a communist. We have a power grabbing sowjet-style EU. But you know what we don’t have: No 2nd amendment and No Donald Trump.

I’m deeply convinced that Europe is lost. Only a big scale revolution can save us. Civil war is a possibility.

5
seaside_dreams 5 points ago +5 / -0

You're right. These things sweep the world in waves every hundred years. Sad thing is my stupid kids fall for THIS. It's insidious. I moved away from a vicious liberal town with high crime. But because they don't see it up front they see the media's spin. They think I'm exaggerating.

They have lived very nice sheltered lives. For this I am grateful. I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't have them see violence in school and be terrified of their classmates. They can learn this crap later.

4
RuPaw 4 points ago +4 / -0

Even though our children don’t see the situation as clearly as we dom(I too have a daughter who thinks I’m exaggerating), this fight will be at least as much their fight than it is ours. The younger generation lacks perspective. They don’t know anything about communism, lawlessness or the consequences of an unprincipled life. They lived sheltered, as you say. But I have no doubt that eventually they will rise to the occasion. It must get worse before it gets better!

Let’s keep the faith!

Keep in mind, America is being subverted. Australia isn't. We're just influenced by American culture.

Think about how cucked we are, especially in melbourne.

Imagine if the same people trying to destroy America, were trying to destroy Australia. We don't have the same passion for freedom as the Americans, nor we do we have guns. Plus our populace are a bunch of dumb fucking cunts that will happily cheer a police officer strangling a young woman, then scold her for not wearing her mask.

If America falls, we all fall. Godspeed yanks, the world is counting on you.

23
Pepbrandt 23 points ago +23 / -0

"If America falls, we all fall." Exactly! This is how I explain our 2nd Amendment to foreign friends. Our guns keep you free.

I can remember the jerking of Australia media when "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." Got into office, I hate how I bought into it.

15
GeauxTrump20 15 points ago +15 / -0

It’s OK everyone makes mistakes. all will be set right soon.

6
masculinist 6 points ago +6 / -0

I didn’t make that mistake but couldn’t bring myself to vote for McStain either, nor Romney.

I was in Australia in 2008 and had a chat with an Aussie in a pub about who’d win between McCain and Obama. The Aussie thought McCain had an edge and I told him he could bank on Obama winning because he appeared more charismatic on television.

Idiots judge books by their covers and Obama was nothing but a cover, and we have way too many people in America that are too easily manipulated or who give their trust and support too quickly. Curb appeal is overwhelming to too many people. History books might eventually expose the truth of Obama. A Muslim socialist, drug addict, biggest pussy to ever hold the title of commander in chief, fabricated credentials, etc. Unfortunately McCain was almost as bad a candidate as Biden or Hillary. Romney was just as bad.

To our Aussie pals, your country has more in common with the US than most of the world. Sadly it seems that recently your government has taken a wrong turn, and the spirit of Australian independence has been tamped down and dismissed. I hope you too can have someone to make Australia Great Again.

The only thing I disagree with is that they didn’t deserve to die. They very much deserved to die. Act like a mob, burn down businesses, terrorize a city, and attack innocent people, you’re a worthless scum bag that should be removed from this planet permanently so you can rot in hell.

They 100% deserved it. And those commies harassing people leaving the RNC deserved it.

The threat of regular people being scared for their lives enough to shoot your ass is the biggest single deterrent to crime.

He wouldn't have just died, the media would have either celebrated it or memory holed him.

10
Fozibare 10 points ago +10 / -0

One lesson that should be learned from the Kyle events:

In less than a minute, one militiaman, only 17 years old, took out or disabled 3 armed riot-mob attackers.

The US militia has more guns than every military combined.

If the militia is called forth to defend against riots, there will be 50 million Kyles on American streets.

10
BlondeBombshell88 10 points ago +10 / -0

If the situation were reversed - that the protestors killed him - it wouldn’t have even made the news.

Siteless_Vagrant 7 points ago +7 / -0

And it's not that they deserved it.

their riot rage overrode their logic

That right there means they deserved it. Wouldn't have been there if they didn't deserve it. They went there with the intent to cause damage, hurt people, and if possible kill. That's the whole reason why they showed up in the first place. They weren't there for politics, or race, or beliefs, they just want to break stuff and hurt people. You're a good person so it's probably hard for you to understand that some people are just wired up the wrong way.

You think that sounds crazy? Ask yourself how many crazy things have you seen this past year alone?

5
Midwestknowsbest 5 points ago +5 / -0

Best of luck friend. I'm sorry you were disarmed.

5
sn196 5 points ago +5 / -0

"Disarmed" perhaps - regardless if its is a bread knife, baseball bat, cattle prod, or a star picket. We are simply not permitted to protect property or life here in Australia.

We have semi auto pistols and revolvers in our family household, all individually licensed - however we are only permitted to shoot on approved ranges and can not carry. Here it is a privilege to use a firearm not a right. We re-load with dillon presses and enjoy our range time.

I grew up in the 80's with SKS's and Surplus FAL 7.62 in the back of the Landcruiser ute shooting pigs and roos. The M1 carbine was in every Toyota 40 series my dad had.

Sure do miss the opportunity the own a semi auto rifle but in reality very happy with our bolt actions and collection of lever actions.

The media here is rubbish - every successful journalist is a marxist and its hard keeping your head down in workplaces that are "progressive"

4
Pepbrandt 4 points ago +4 / -0

Glad you're able to see so clearly from Australia. The day where no one outside the US knows what's going on will be scary.

2
Snakecasablanca83 [S] 2 points ago +3 / -1

I'm actually an outlier here. In Australia I think more people hate Trump and are convinced by the media that everyone over there hates Trump. Our media is pretty much like your media but people are more likely to believe it because it's not their country so they only read the headlines. Orange man bad is pretty much the line over here.

If I tell people I don't mind Trump they consider me a Trump lover.

If he wins again (God Willing) it will surprise a lot more people than in the US.

Well technically more people in the US will be surprised. But a greater percentage of Australians will be surprised. :)

“ where they have been showcasing to psychos that there are no rules.”

Thank you for understanding the underlying issue, wether it is intentional or the result of incompetent halfwits who wanted to be in power and now can’t make important decisions. Either way this is the crux of why it was getting worse and worse

2
Strike_Eagle784 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think it's in everyone's interest to step away from the news every now and again. That doesn't mean dont be aware of what's on, or be complacent, it just means take a break every now and again.

That being said, Kyle's a hero. Thankfully nothing came of him, but its a lesson in valuing life.
