It was a bag with a bottle or something else in it. When it crossed in front of the lights of the building it looked like fire. Watch when it hits the ground. There is no flame. It doesn't really matter though. What we do know for sure a guy fired a gun right behind them - then the dead guy tried to grab his gun. Kyle was justified and it was no doubt self defense.
So is the current working theory that beard guy and his sidekick backpack girl shot at Kyle from behind but accidentally hit red shirt in the back, Kyle turns around because he thinks he’s being shot at, red shirt thinks Kyle shot him and tries to get the gun, then Kyle shoots red shirt in self defense?
The first shooter either shot in the air or at Kyle. Don't believe he hit anyone. Kyle stopped and turned around. Don't think red shirt thought Kyle was shooting, but red shirt wanted his gun and was lunging for him. Assumption is Kyle thought red shirt shot at him and he was trying to grab Kyle's gun - so he quickly fired ~4 rounds off and made red shirt into Swiss cheese.
