The protests are organized by a group from Stuttgart. They announced the demo in the past and invited people from all over Germany to attend in Berlin.

The Berlin city council (lead by leftists) tried to ban the demonstration, but the organizers asked the administrative court and they basically said "You cannot limit the right to demonstrate" (one of the most fundamental rights in Germany).
