Poll watching is great, but we need to be a part of CHECKING VOTERS IN, CHECKING IDs, CONFIRMING SIGNATURES, COUNTING VOTES, RUNNING BALLOTS, VALIDATING RESULTS etc. Many positions are paid.

It's worth it. And no, you're not going to be over qualified. They want all that information to make sure you don't have any previous fraud or election charges.
