Huh? The states now have to bend to the will of some basketball players, or the league can't operate?

see ... here's the thing.... if you want to extort someone, you have to threaten to deprive them of something they give a shit about like their family or their dog. If you threaten to deprive them of something they don't care about like, say, "Do this thing now or else we kill all the mosquitoes", it's not going to have the reaction you want. I would have thought the NBA were better at being thugs than this. It's kind of embarrassing.

You have a point. They should also demand stadiums become post offices. I think also players should pick up and deliver mail.

I was just speaking to someone who had no idea about the real facts of the Blake situation or the Floyd situation. I'm sure he will be looking up the facts now.y

Honestly with the decreased revenue (viewers down 40%, no ticket sales) the owners are probably rethinking the collective bargaining agreement. The might lead to 60% salary caps and undoubtedly a lockout. 👍

What the owners are learning is when you give someone what they want because they have a tantrum, they have more and bigger tantrums.
