A little bacon, some garlic, salt and pepper to taste, that was the first way I learned.

My wife’s family introduced me to this one: some olive oil drizzled over them after you cut them in half, add garlic, shredded parmesan cheese, roast for 15 or 20 minutes until they start to get crisp, take them out of the oven and hit them with a little lemon juice and lemon zest.
