Because being normal requires hard looks at yourself and taking action upon what you find. The Left and their ilk hates personal responsibility, and even more hates taking personal action. They outsource it to Authoritarian governments. They outsource it to programs. And when they can't outsource their own bodies, they blame someone else. They try to embrace Fat is Beautiful, so they don't have to take on the really difficult life-long effort of living well.
