That's going too far in the other direction and makes us look crazy. Asymptomatic spread of viruses in general is a very real thing. In the case of coronaviruses, they can spread just from exhaling next to somebody. Of course these masks people are wearing do very little, and the virus isn't a deadly plague, but saying “if I’m asymptomatic I cannot spread it” is false.
We should push the narrative in other directions rather than spreading psuedoscience.
Effectiveness of masks is not proven. Unless it's an N95 mask it probably does nothing.
There's no reason to wear a mask outside anyway. Especially if you're not in a dense crowd. Sunlight kills virus and the wind blows it away.
Masks are a symbol used to virtue-signal compliance more than anything.
We've never "locked down" over a virus with <3% fatality rate. If you get the virus you'll probably be fine. It's mass-hysteria.
Locking down itself may be worse than the virus with job loss, depression, suicide, domestic violence. Staying inside weakens our immune systems.
The whole reason for the lock down was to flatten the curve. Even health officials were saying it would spread to everyone eventually - we just wanted to prevent hospitals from getting overloaded. Which we did. Mission accomplished.
Lockdowns around the world were heavily pushed by Chinese social media influencers, even though China only did it in two cities.
We should probably let more people get the virus so we have herd immunity. Any efforts to contain it should be targeted to vulnerable communities only.
Yeah I think even the head of the WHO said it's not proven, but then she had to walk those comments back when the powers that be got to her. (ie China)

CDC said asymptomatic spread was bullshit, or some other large health body. It's not some fringe idea.
