I hate the gym man, i'm better just doing calisthenics in the park where you don't have to smell the stale fermented sweat and degrading china rubber. that shit just isn't healthy, imo.
nice, nice, i have got to do the same. Been a while since i was in sick shape. i mostly just ride my mountain bike and have started doing pushups again. Don't wana ramp up too quick and injure myself.

Have gym setup in my basement. Bench, heavy bag, speed bag, cardio equipment, pull-up structure.
Love working out, much better without dealing with a gym.

Yeah, be careful. Injuries are such a huge setback. I workout regularly, but do not go as heavy as I used to. Have to stay healthy.
