Contrary to popular opinion there is no moral basis for not being able to hit a female.

The only possible mistake I see is that Kyle might have been mistaken as to who had to get off who. In a cat fight it's not always clear who is clutching who at what point. If the little one is clutching hitting the big one might be futile.
This is common in cat fights. Hitting someone can be the only way to get them to let go. Dragging them or anything else wont really work. It can make it worse as it'll just be pulling their hair out.
From what I see the big girl does something as little girl walks by then little girl turns around and faces up to big girl and at this point big girl seems to respond. When Kyle jumps in it would look like from his perspective big girl bearing down on little girl.
It looks like Kyle and his crew are minding their own business when some random aggressor comes up to chastise them for something. I can hear the video man say "she already smacked him". I can assume that the aggressor smacked Kyle, and he held his cool until the catfight broke out.
The only thing I know for sure is that this can be weaponized without context, just like all the other media surrounding him up until now.
