Why are you still using google man? Switch to DuckDuckGo!

7
sub-collector 7 points ago +8 / -1

It makes no difference anymore. If you want better results, yandex actually works better. ddg, startpage, whathaveyou all return the same shit because they use google as their engine, and it appears that google figured out how to muddy up the query results with spam and other nonsense.

But hopefully, not for much longer, they'll hold this monopoly as there are considerations being investigated on whether or not this is a good time to move up the development of an alternative service in the priority queue. All-n-all, there is some new exciting shit coming up relatively soon, stay tuned!

8
NihilistCaregiver 8 points ago +9 / -1

I'd still argue that using google for your search engine gives them your personal identifier data so they can keep that profile of you. DDG or StartPage anonymize any personal attributes before sending the search query into Google.

4
sub-collector 4 points ago +5 / -1

gives them your personal identifier data

Probably true for most people. This is my bread and butter, I know how to muddy up anything that comes out of the IPs, browsers, accounts, etc. I'm using.

2
rma92 2 points ago +2 / -0

We really all should be doing this.

Also I agree with Yandex giving the best results of the bunch. So I use it or startpage for most things, sometimes DDG, for certain specific technical things, Google gives the best results... :-(

xzibit_b 1 point ago +1 / -0

Can you share your methods with me? I use incognito and a VPN but Google very well may be smarter than me.

1
sub-collector 1 point ago +2 / -1

To protect from tracking you can just use made up IDs and use TOR, it'll work for the most things. You just have to be disciplined enough to never use those IDs via your own network, always via a proxy.

My methods, unfortunately, are tailored for my tasks and involve things I can't really share, although, we are working on an appliance that should solve some of these problems. There are some devices out there already that should be more than enough for most people, something that you could use as a hot spot and be protected at all times. Something like this: https://www.anonabox.com/index.html

deleted 1 point ago +2 / -1

sub-collector 0 points ago +1 / -1

Chances are you still have a fairly unique fingerprint.

You seem to know based purely on your assumption a lot about how I operate, which is indicative of the Dunning-Kruger effect sufferer.

TOR doesn't protect you

It does if you use it right.

I'm curious as to what you're doing exactly.

Get rid of your assumptive attitude and maybe we'll talk.

Not just official but all Healthcare providers. Malpracrice kills 250,000-500,000 Americans any year. Its because doctors and nurses don't think for themselves. They don't think critically. They learned in college to regurgitate the information, not to think. So now we got doctors repeating everything politicians and bureaucrats say because they do not know how to think. Half a million Americans dead in any given year and no accountability.

45
sun_wolf 45 points ago +45 / -0

CoronaVirus really exposed the swamp in medicine. The cowardice of doctors. Their willingness to lie to support a political narrative. Their willingness to suppress cures. The knowingly false publication of misinformation in peer-reviewed medical journals. Manipulation of studies. False headlines. Nurses pretending to be in a war zone to appease a media lie and stroke their egos.

10

After all, war zones are notorious hotbeds for TikTok dancing videos.

Not to turn this religious because you can do the same think with climate change but Religious people have been seeing this for a long time with evolutionary theory.

10
45best45 10 points ago +10 / -0

I would consider myself religious, but I believe evolution theory to be pretty solid. I spent my youth in religious education where evo and darwin were smugly slandered and misrepresented - this hardened my heart to Him and I would disrespect and laugh at these teachers.

I did my first degree in biochem & pharmacology before I found God. I believe the slow march from unassociated nucleotides to the life we have around us today is just another example of His beauty and wisdom. God and darwin don't have to be mutually exclusive and irreconcilable.

4
Kael 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yup. The more science you know the more it proves God is all knowing. It’s literally unraveling how he created life. Evolution proves God IMO.

1
sackofwisdom 1 point ago +1 / -0

It doesn't prove anything about God. Prove is a powerful word. Just because something is incredible doesn't mean it is supernatural.

Also, there may be one or more super human conscious beings out there. But being amazed by the engineering you see around you doesn't mean it inherently comes from the Christian Judaeo God.

They get $20,000 per "positive" case and $40,000 per death. So if hospital employees get it, they'l test them every single day until they are negative. Each test is a new "case" and they get paid. As for the big shots and politicians? They want to hurt Trump but also they get paid if Remdivisor becomes a thing at $3000 a dose compared to the better performing Hydroxy at 30 cents a dose.

4
treefork 4 points ago +4 / -0

So if hospital employees get it, they'l test them every single day until they are negative. Each test is a new "case" and they get paid.

Is there evidence for this or at least somebody that witnessed it?

2
Kael 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes! Talk to any hospital staff you know casually about how often they test their employees. You’ll have your answer soon enough.

1

8
MAGAlikethis 8 points ago +8 / -0

8200 deaths in the US this last influenza season https://www.contagionlive.com/news/us-flu-cases-climb-to-15-million-with-54-pediatric-deaths-recorded-in-201920-season

The death numbers are about the same as Influenza A/B. COVID-19 does no more damage than the regular flu, which we don't close schools for, we don't close businesses for and we definitely do not shut our country down for.

Agreed.

11
kornesque 11 points ago +12 / -1

It's really concerning, ain't gonna lie. I hope it's a front to keep Gates comfy while he builds a case.

8
NoSteppy1776 8 points ago +8 / -0

I could foresee him playing all along, but I can't believe he would FORCE the vaccine on us.

5
Red_Turtle 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'm hoping he's just saying these things to ease the transition for people who were too deeply wrapped up in the Dem brainwashing that they can't handle 100% reality right away. I'm still disappointed he's saying it, but I hope he has a plan.

Either way, imo, he needs to get this info out and throw people into ice-cold reality. We shouldn't indulge fantasy because others are more comfortable that way. Enough is enough.

We should not be locked down. There should not be mask mandates or rules (even business policy rules). There should not be social distancing orders. THERE SHOULD NOT BE A MANDATORY VACCINE, ANYWHERE. This means directly or indirectly (using employers to get around laws etc.).

I will not comply with a vaccine.

2
donaldschwarzenegger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Vaccines terrify me too, not just your ordinary one but the Bill Gates one.

I did not want them AT ALL... but look, if theres gonna be one let those willing to take it, take it. When they start dying, that isnt our problem we warned them and they called us conspiracy theorists. This is literally, in the simplest form: natural selection. They werent smart enough to see the threat, so their genetics die off.

On the other hand, i am most terrified of vaccination certifications to get a job, travel, go in stores, etc. This is truly the darkest timeline if it comes to this point. If we think its bad now, this is the devils playground.

44

That is about half the annual death rate for the flu according to this CDC page I found: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/past-seasons.html. So COVID 19 is so deadly that is warrants destroying the US's economy and stripping people of their rights, but the annual Flu (which is at least twice as deadly) happens every year without any disruption to the majority of peoples lives?

It is stupid and it's not right. "6% had no comorbidities" is not at all the same as "only 6% were actually killed by covid." Look at the comorbidities in the table, it's stuff like pneumonia and respiratory distress. Those are things caused by covid, of course only a tiny fraction of covid deaths wouldn't have those things.

Also, america in general is super unhealthy. Especially old people, who are the bulk of covid deaths. I bet 75% of people over 75 have at least one comorbidity, so the vast majority of covid deaths having a comorbidity is pretty meaningless, especially without some baseline to compare it to.

4
jdtiger 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly. Glad you said it, and are getting upvoted. I always get downvoted for correcting things like this. Maybe I come across antagonistic, I don't know.

I bet 75% of people over 75 have at least one comorbidity

Yep. 70% of people 70 or older have hypertension.

3
jigglyp33n 3 points ago +3 / -0

Of the individuals with a covid/pneumonia comorbidity, what percentage contracted pneumonia due purely to covid?

3
the_user 3 points ago +4 / -1

Over 74,000

Deaths involving COVID-19 and Pneumonia, excluding Influenza (U07.1 and J12.0–J18.9)

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

0
jigglyp33n 0 points ago +1 / -1

This doesn't answer my question. Let me rephrase. How often does Corona virus CAUSE pneumonia?

1
the_user 1 point ago +1 / -0

First you would need the total amount of Covid 19 infections. Then you would need the total amount of cases of pneumonia caused by the covid 19 virus. Do a little arithmetic. Budda bing budda boom. You got your answer.

1
jigglyp33n 1 point ago +1 / -0

So you have no idea?

29
Grindelwald 29 points ago +29 / -0

So if I got a normal flu and had two to three other conditions that made me weak or fragile and I died, the flu killed me.

43
Winter_Is_Coming2020 43 points ago +43 / -0

Just had an appt with a specialist (have a common breathing problem) - asked them about Covid in general: 1-Masks don’t work - people keep playing with them so touching the face is a problem. 2-It’s killing old people 3-It’s hurting people with bad comorbidities- but not necessarily killing them 4-Doctors are being silenced from speaking out about the truth

3
JohnDee 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yup Including bullet wounds

2

This hoax that has been perpetrated against the citizens of many nations is criminal and malevolent. The amount of property, businesses and lives that have been ruined over a hoax for various political/societal engineering reasons is not only criminal but treasonous. In my opinion. Public gallows are absolutely justified.

Although I don't disagree, you might as well throw in all the Karens and pseudo intellectuals that perpetuate this bullshit. All I know is that pedes need to learn an important lesson from this. Ideally we pin this in history so it doesn't happen again. Coronavirus "pandemic" is simply history repeating itself.

14
TGNX 14 points ago +15 / -1

This isn't as big a gotcha as you think (although, it's pretty big).

They list as one of the chief comorbidities "influenza and pneumonia." Given that the Wuflu can lead to pneumonia in some cases, is this a comorbidity or a symptom? Also, they don't separate influenza from pneumonia. That seems really weird, as it would dramatically taint their numbers. Which death was caused by kung flu, which by influenza, which by pneumonia? Was the pneumonia caused by seasonal influenza, kung flu, neither, or both? The problem is that the pneumonia could have been caused by COVID 19, thus putting those deaths in the "caused by COVID" column, but how many? Only an audit could tell us that.

Leaving out the pneumonia row, what about "Adult respiratory distress syndrome," "Respiratory failure," and "Respiratory arrest?" Are those linked as symptoms of COVID? I thought the kung flu could cause those conditions, are they symptoms, comorbidities, or both?

There's a lot to be desired in this. It doesn't answer as many questions as it raises. It seems to muddy the waters even further.

11
NihilistCaregiver 11 points ago +11 / -0

Ditto. I feel like this isn't the CDC trying to make a last minute correction, as much as it is them having the data to refine the picture.

In other words, I would not go shoving this in the face of a bunch of libs to show them they're wrong, just yet..

However, if you look at the comorbidities table, you can see that out of the 161,392 total count, 77,990 deaths were attributed to a cause that probably had little to do with covid. Being able to cut the covid 19 death count in HALF (based on deaths that could reasonably be linked to symptoms of a respiratory illness) is still good news.

2
TGNX 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree about the 78k or so that are attributed to things that have little to nothing to do with the disease. Cutting the death count in half, then adjusting by about 25% down based upon what Dr. Birx stated about overcounts, then remembering that 40% of the deaths are attributed to nursing homes (of which many were forced to take in infectious individuals, thus were preventable), then the numbers become quite small.

Back of the envelope math yields about 40k deaths. This is very rough and likely highly inaccurate, but this places COVID-19 in the same range as the seasonal flu.

14
Zenweaponry 14 points ago +14 / -0

Holy shit. Those stats were so severe that I didn't believe them. Now I've read that cdc report, and I think our media and medical professionals have a lot of 'splainin to do. This is a disease that overwhelmingly targets those who have lived beyond the average life expectancy by about a decade or more, or those with 2-3 other severe illnesses as comorbidities, yet healthy citizens need to mask up and lockdown? Get out of here. Give me back the last 150 days that I've been furloughed from 3 separate jobs.

Not trying to crap on this post, but this info has actually been out for a while so it wasn’t quietly updated. I know we as humans come across things at different times in our research. It’s been at 6% for at least a month and a half. I do remember seeing it at 7% before then but I’m not completely certain of the date for that so the overall percentage has gone down (color me shocked!)
