It makes no difference anymore. If you want better results, yandex actually works better. ddg, startpage, whathaveyou all return the same shit because they use google as their engine, and it appears that google figured out how to muddy up the query results with spam and other nonsense.
But hopefully, not for much longer, they'll hold this monopoly as there are considerations being investigated on whether or not this is a good time to move up the development of an alternative service in the priority queue. All-n-all, there is some new exciting shit coming up relatively soon, stay tuned!
I'd still argue that using google for your search engine gives them your personal identifier data so they can keep that profile of you. DDG or StartPage anonymize any personal attributes before sending the search query into Google.
Probably true for most people. This is my bread and butter, I know how to muddy up anything that comes out of the IPs, browsers, accounts, etc. I'm using.
Dude. fbclid, really? https://www.google.com/search?q=fbclid+remove+from+url+browser+plugin
Why are you still using google man? Switch to DuckDuckGo!
